I hear that Americans get snow really bad compared to us Brits. We just get pathetic flurrys whereas you probably get proper snowstorms.
I feel you on taking a breather from your art. You gotta do what you gotta do. At the end of the day, creating is a very personal endeavour so it's something that should be done with YOU want to do it, not when you feel like you MUST do it or something.
