I honestly don't blame you one bit. The internet/social media has changed so much and you have to begin to ask yourself, "is it really worth it?". As for Instagram, I deleted mine before the New Year; I literally only had it to commission an artist but for the brief time that I did have it, I felt like I lost a few braincells. I am sure that once upon a time it was good for artists and even photographers but now it's just another slop machine.

Your art deserves better than being on the slop machine.
